I explore the relationship between time and space through dimensional shifts by combining various media to create a new 'Pictorial Reality'. This work is the result of combining physical sculptural processes such as tearing, winding, cutting and stacking using one-dimensional linear elements such as tape, wire, rope, clay, and spiritual inspiration. It delves into the boundaries between the tangible and intangible realms,, blurring the lines between time and space, chaos and order, unconsciousness and consciousness, and provoking a dialogue between the artwork and its spatiotemporal context.
This exploration is exemplified in series works such as 'Space Drawing,' spontaneous tape drawings directly on three-dimensional surfaces, "Sculptural Drawing,' which pursues the state between consciousness and unconsciousness as it completes, 'Sewing Space,' wire drawings in 3D space, 'Rolling Space,' presenting new perspectives of 'Space Drawing'. Additionally, series like "Times Composed" investigate the relationship between visual language and similar events within my 'Drawing Diary,' which began due to language barriers upon arrival in the U. S. and continued for over a decade. Then these recreated into colleges, also reflect time shifts at a glance. Through this multidimensional approach and connection, it opens up possibilities for new perceptions through interaction with the audience." _from Artist note
